I’ve never been one to embrace the conventional, a theme that permeates my life. Recently while wondering what to do with the deteriorating mass of leather covering my credit cards I once again tried to think about something that was both utilitarian (insofar as it could carry my belongings) and interesting. I’ve always eschewed the bulging lump that you see in many a mans back pocket so I was really in search of something reasonably chic but that also made a bit of a statement. By happenstance, I stumbled upon an old Asprey crocodile cigarette/cigar case from the early 1900s with a small silver collar that just seemed perfect. One of the things I loved about it is that its actually curved so as to fit comfortably in ones pocket. Its the perfect blend of form, function and of course….style.
