Ok, I’ve reached a crisis point. Almost every one of my favorite jeans have some kind of tear, and not the “cool” tear people pay for, the real kind. Naturally this only happens to the jeans I hold nearest and dearest to my heart. The ones its taken years to get just right. Desperate times demand desperate actions.
Digging through the deep recesses of my closet, apparently I’m not too keen on the “out with the old, in with the new” thing. Fortunately this means I have some interesting old shirts that may just be the solution to my problem. Ok, so maybe “interesting” may not be the right word (Sofia would use words like “horrifying” and “embarrassing”). After careful deliberation and being subjected to a reasonable amount of mockery for what were, in hindsight, dodgy wardrobe decisions on my part, I’ve found a new purpose for these hidden treasures. You see as accents (read patches) they are actually quite nice. A Versace-esque pattern on the back pocket, an interesting stripe for the knee and voila! Bobs your uncle!
